The ‘Lil Guardian Education & Awareness Program (LEAP) is a positive-growth curriculum, created and tailored for the needs of those children, whom the Guardians of the Children, Mooresville NC Chapter (a 501©3 non-profit organization) have Adopted and Mentor. 

The LEAP Program focuses on strengthening positive character traits through proven cognitive behavioral therapy models. We are giving victims of abuse, concepts, instruction, demonstrations, art therapy and most importantly, tools. Tools which they will use for positive life-long learning to ensure their place among society as Successful, Happy, Healthy and Empowered Survivors! 

The Guardians have always viewed their role in the well-being of the children they serve, as one arm, of many. Similarly, to fully serve the well-being of our children, we must naturally serve their entire family. Which is why, when we adopt a child, we adopt and serve their entire family. As such, the LEAP Program also strives in serving the health and well-being of all the families, of our adoptees and mentored children. Everything our students learn in the LEAP Program, they learn with their families.
