Mooresville Chapter Officers

Nathan "Wheels" Armas
President

"I have witnessed firsthand just how damaging abuse can be to a child. Knowing that there are children in need of support, and doing nothing to support them, was never an option for me.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve the children our organization represents. As guardians we are far from reaching our goal of ending child abuse in this country; however, we will never stop fighting for those who need us. We all have a duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves. We are the voice for the voiceless."
“Don’t let your silence drown out their cries”

Rick "Bulldog" Loftis
Vice President

"I attended my first Mooresville GOC meeting in June of '22 and I haven't looked back since. I've been a Road Guard and continued as the Fundraising Chairman.
I was abused and bullied as a child so it is an issue that I am very passionate about. I've always wanted to make a difference in a child's life and find a brotherhood of like-minded individuals. I am impressed and proud of what GOC is and stands for. I have found that and so much more... I've found my place and second family.
As our mantra states:
WHEN A CHILD CALLS.. WE RIDE!"

Nathan "Rip" Van Auken
Sgt At Arms

"I joined the GOC to protect as many children as possible. I was bullied when I was younger and it took a long time to find my true self. I don't want that for any kid. EVERY child should be able to live this life in the light instead of darkness"

"Until I joined GOC I did not realize how widespread child abuse and bullying had
become. I joined because I wanted to help educate others and commit to work
towards eliminating the problem. It is an honor and a privilege to work with like
minded people who are passionate about the cause."

Ryan "Tank" Loftis
Secretary

"I joined GOC because I want to make a difference in the lives of children that can't fight for themselves. Knowing there are suffering kids out there gives me the drive to help them however I can."

"Children are full of innocence and so helpless. I joined the GOC to provide a voice to those without one, an ear for those who feel unheard, and shoulders strong enough to carry the weight so they don’t have to."
Appointed Positions - Road Crew

Daniel "Sasquatch" Johnson

"Being part of GOC means everything to me. These are the heroes I needed growing up but never had. Now, as Road Captain, my mission is simple... lead with safety and heart. When we ride in and I see those kids smile, I know we’re making a difference. In that moment, I know we’re doing something right and that’s what keeps me going."
