Being a Child Liaison means having the opportunity to become someone a child knows they can count on. I want our kids to feel heard, valued and safe being exactly who they are. More than anything, I want them to know that when life gets hard, they have an entire family standing beside them.

My name is Waterboy. I rode in the CAPA ride for Guardians of the Children in April of 2025. That day, I talked with several Guardians, and I wanted to know more about this organization. I am so glad that I did! I am a Child Liaison and a member of the Road Crew. I am here to protect and support these kids.

Every child deserves someone who will stand beside them when they feel alone. My mission is simple: to replace fear with hope, remind them they matter, and make sure they know they will never have to face life’s hardest battles by themselves.

I have always had a huge heart for kids. I love being able to help anyone and everyone. I love being part of an organization that tries to put smiles on kids face through experiences and being there when they need support.

There are several roles within our organization, but I felt called to the Child Liaison role. From the beginning I wanted to give these kiddos a voice and be a person that they can depend on in the good times and bad. I want to make a difference!

I've always wanted to use my time and any talents I may have to make a difference. At the end of the day I think people are meant to help one another.
